3. Nastavení a první použití

3.1 Počáteční čištění

  1. Before first use, wash the pot, lid, sealing ring, steamer rack, and pressure valves with warm, soapy water.
  2. Rinse thoroughly and dry all components completely.
  3. Inspect the silicone sealing ring for any tears or damage and ensure it is correctly seated in the lid groove.

  1. Add ingredients and liquid to the pressure cooker. Ensure the liquid level is at least 1 cup (250ml) and does not exceed the maximum fill lines (2/3 full for most foods, 1/2 full for expanding foods).
  2. Place the lid onto the pot, aligning the lid's arrow with the handle's arrow. Rotate the lid clockwise until it locks securely into place. The ergonomic soft-touch handle and heat-resistant side grips assist in this process.
  3. Place the pressure cooker on a suitable stovetop (induction, ceramic, electric, or gas).

4.2 Nastavení tlaku

The VEVOR Pressure Cooker offers three pressure settings:

  • 0 kPa (Manual Venting): Pro uvolněníasing tlak po vaření.
  • 60 kPa (Low Pressure): Ideal for tender and easy-to-cook foods.
  • 100 kPa (High Pressure): Suitable for difficult-to-digest foods and faster cooking.

Rotate the mechanical knob on the lid to select the desired pressure setting (60 kPa or 100 kPa) before heating. Ensure the setting is firm and not loose.

4.3 Proces vaření

  1. Heat the cooker on high heat until the pressure indicator rises and steam begins to escape from the pressure regulator valve.
  2. Once the desired pressure is reached (indicated by the selected weighted valve), reduce the heat to maintain a steady, gentle steam release.

5. Údržba a péče

Správná údržba zajistí dlouhou životnost a bezpečný provoz vašeho tlakového hrnce.

  • Čištění hrnce: Wash the stainless steel pot with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots. The pot is not dishwasher safe.
  • Čištění víka: Hand wash the lid with warm, soapy water. Pay special attention to cleaning around the pressure regulator, safety valves, and vent pipe to ensure no food particles are blocking them. Do not immerse the entire lid in water.
  • Těsnící kroužek: Remove the silicone sealing ring from the lid after each use for cleaning. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry. Ensure it is flexible and free from cracks or damage. Replace if necessary (two are included).
  • Pressure Valves: Disassemble and clean the weighted pressure valves and the vent pipe to ensure they are clear of any food debris.
  • Skladování: Store the pressure cooker clean and dry. It is recommended to store the lid inverted on the pot to allow air circulation and prevent the sealing ring from compressing permanently.

6. Řešení problémů

If you encounter issues with your pressure cooker, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Pressure not building:

    • Add a small amount of cooking oil to the liquid to help reduce frothing.
    • Always clean valves thoroughly after cooking frothy foods.
