Nastavení

1. Unpack the Ammo Box: Remove the MTM BMG20 Ammo Box from its packaging. Inspect the box for any signs of damage.

3. Check the O-ring Seal: Verify that the O-ring seal inside the lid is clean and free from debris. A clean and properly seated O-ring is crucial for maintaining the water-resistant properties of the box.

Operace

1. Loading Ammunition:

   Carefully insert up to 20 rounds into the designated holes in the foam insert. Ensure each round is seated firmly in the bullet-up position. The foam is designed to accommodate large calibers such as 50 BMG, 416 Barrett, 50 DTC, 460 Steyr, and HS460, with a maximum overall length (OAL) of 4.9 inches and a hole diameter of 0.82 inches.

2. Zavření krabice:

   Align the lid with the base of the box. Press down firmly on the lid until the front latch engages securely. A distinct click indicates the latch is closed. Ensure the O-ring seal is compressed evenly around the perimeter for water resistance.
3. Securing the Box (Optional):

   For added security, the ammo box features double padlock tabs. Insert padlocks (not included) through the tabs to prevent unauthorized access.

4. Stohování:

   The MTM BMG20 Ammo Box is designed to be stackable. Place additional boxes on top, aligning them for stable storage.

• Čištění:

  Clean the exterior of the ammo box with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the plastic. Ensure the box is completely dry before storing ammunition.

• Kontrola O-kroužku:

  Periodically inspect the O-ring seal for cracks, tears, or signs of wear. A damaged O-ring can compromise the water-resistant properties. Replace the O-ring if necessary (replacement O-rings sold separately by MTM).
• Foam Insert Care:

  The foam insert can be removed for cleaning if it becomes soiled. Hand wash with mild soap and water, then allow it to air dry completely before reinserting into the box.

Issue: Lid does not close securely.

Řešení: Ensure no ammunition or debris is obstructing the lid's closure. Check that the O-ring is properly seated and not twisted. Apply firm, even pressure when closing the lid until the latch clicks.

Issue: Box does not appear water-resistant.

Řešení: Verify the O-ring seal is clean, intact, and correctly positioned. A damaged or dirty O-ring will prevent a proper seal. Ensure the lid is fully latched. Note that the box is water-resistant, not submersible.

Issue: Ammunition does not fit in foam insert.

Řešení: Confirm that your ammunition caliber is compatible with the BMG20 box (e.g., 50 BMG, 416 Barrett, 50 DTC, 460 Steyr, HS460). Check the maximum overall length (OAL) of your rounds (max 4.9 inches) and bullet diameter (max 0.82 inches) against the box's specifications.
