3. Nastavení a montáž

The Heybike Ranger S comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

3.1 Vybalení a identifikace součástí

Carefully remove the bike and all components from the packaging. Verify all parts are present according to the packing list in your user manual.

3.2 Montáž předního kola

1. Locate the front fork and remove the protective stud bolts.
2. Remove the black retainer from the brake caliper.
3. Take the front wheel and insert one of the stud bolts through the center shaft from the brake disc side. Tighten slightly with a gear wrench.
4. Carefully position the front wheel between the forks and slide the sub bolts into the threaded part of the fork dropouts.
5. Use a gear wrench to tighten the stud bolts securely.
6. Cover the screws on both sides of the front wheel with the provided screw covers.

1. Locate the head parts, loosen the fastening screw, and remove the washer.
2. Place the handlebar onto the head parts and adjust the handlebar angle to ensure the bike is straight in line.

3.4 Headlight & Front Fender Assembly

1. Locate the headlight stud bolts and attach the headlight and front fender.
2. Use a gear wrench and an Allen wrench to fasten the headlight and fenders above the front fork.
3. Connect the power cable of the headlight with the handlebar's cable. Also, connect the display cable to the handlebar's cable.
4. Loosen the two screws located on both sides of the front fork, align the coils of the two arms of the fender with the holes, then use an Allen wrench to tighten the screws.

3.5 Pedal Assembly

1. Locate the right/left side pedal. Each pedal should have a sticker with an 'R'/'L' on it to indicate which side it belongs to.
2. Take the right pedal and gently thread it onto the right crank by hand, turning it clockwise. Be careful not to cross-thread the pedal. Once it is threaded correctly, use an Allen wrench to tighten the pedal securely. Repeat step 2 for the left pedal, threading it onto the left crank by hand and tightening it with an Allen wrench.
3. Check the chain alignment. Rotate the right pedal and crank toward the back of the bike as though pedaling backward. Watch the chain and ensure the chain runs through the drive train (the rear cog, chain tensioner, and around the front chainring) smoothly.
