The DERYAN Carter i-Size car seat is designed to provide optimal safety and comfort for children, complying with the strict i-Size UNECE R129 standard. This manual provides essential information for the correct installation, operation, and maintenance of your car seat, ensuring the safety and well-being of your child.

This car seat is suitable for children approximately from 15 months up to 12 years of age, covering a height range of 76 cm to 150 cm.

Bezpečnostní informace

Always read and understand all instructions before using the car seat. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• i-Size (R129) Compliance: This car seat meets the latest European i-Size safety regulation (R129), providing enhanced protection, especially against side impacts, due to energy-absorbing materials and a reinforced headrest.
• Isofix & Top Tether: For maximum stability and security, always use the integrated Isofix system with the additional Top Tether. This prevents dangerous tipping or twisting of the seat during sudden braking or an accident.
• Systém popruhů: The integrated 3-point harness system is to be used for children up to approximately 105 cm in height (around 15 months). For children 100 cm and taller, the vehicle's 3-point seat belt must be used.
• Ensure the car seat is always installed forward-facing.
• Nikdy nenechávejte své dítě v autosedačce bez dozoru.
• Nepoužívejte autosedačku, pokud byla účastníkem nehody, a to ani v případě, že na ní není žádné viditelné poškození.

Nastavení a instalace

Proper installation is crucial for your child's safety. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Příprava autosedačky: Ensure the Isofix connectors are extended. Locate the Isofix anchor points in your vehicle.

2. Connect Isofix: Push the car seat firmly against the vehicle's seat back until the Isofix connectors click securely into the anchor points. Check the indicators (usually green) to confirm correct engagement.
3. Attach Top Tether: Locate the Top Tether anchor point in your vehicle (usually behind the rear seat or in the boot). Pull the Top Tether strap from the car seat and attach its hook to the vehicle's anchor point. Tighten the strap until the indicator (if present) shows it is correctly tensioned.

4. Zajistěte sedadlo: Push the car seat firmly towards the vehicle's seat back to remove any slack and ensure a tight fit.
5. Child Harness (76-105 cm): For children between 76 cm and 105 cm, use the integrated 3-point harness. Place the child in the seat, pull the harness straps over their shoulders, and buckle them securely. Adjust the harness height so it is at or slightly above the child's shoulders. Tighten the harness until it is snug against the child's body, allowing only one finger to fit between the harness and the child's collarbone.

6. Vehicle Seat Belt (100-150 cm): For children 100 cm to 150 cm, the integrated harness should be removed (refer to maintenance section for details) and the vehicle's 3-point seat belt used. Guide the vehicle's seat belt through the designated belt guides on the car seat and buckle it. Ensure the lap belt is low across the child's hips and the shoulder belt rests across the center of their shoulder and chest.

• Čištění tvrdých částí: Otřete plastové a kovové části čističemamp hadříkem a jemným mýdlem. Nepoužívejte abrazivní čisticí prostředky nebo rozpouštědla.
• Péče o postroj: Inspect the harness straps regularly for fraying or damage. Clean straps with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not immerse the buckle in water.
• Skladování: Pokud autosedačku nepoužíváte, skladujte ji na chladném a suchém místě mimo dosah přímého slunečního záření.
