1. Úvod

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your RETROSUN Adjustable Bed Remote Control Replacement. This remote is designed to be compatible with Serta Motion Perfect 4 (IV) and Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Ergo RF398A adjustable bed bases. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper functionality and to maximize the lifespan of your remote control.

2. Nastavení

2.1 Instalace baterie

The remote control requires three (3) AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

1. Slide open the battery cover located on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert three new AAA batteries, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals as indicated inside the compartment.

2.2 Spárování dálkového ovladače

The remote control must be paired with your adjustable bed base before first use. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Krok 1: Locate the Battery Backup Box on your adjustable bed base. Press the button on the Battery Backup Box TWICE. A light on the Battery Backup Box will illuminate.
2. Krok 2: On the back of the remote control, under the battery cover, press and hold down the PÁR tlačítko. The PÁR button will illuminate blue and start flashing.
3. Krok 3: Pokračujte v držení PÁR button until it stops flashing and the illuminated light on the Battery Backup Box goes out. Release the PÁR tlačítko.
4. Krok 4: Test all remote functions. If the remote buttons do not control the adjustable base movements, repeat the pairing process.

Note: If the remote was previously paired and is not responding, ensure the Child Lock feature is not active. Refer to section 3.2 for Child Lock instructions.

3.2 Funkce dětského zámku

The remote control includes a Child Lock feature to prevent accidental adjustments. Follow these steps to activate or deactivate it:

• Aktivace dětského zámku: Stiskněte a podržte HLAVU VZHŮRU a HLAVA DOLŮ buttons together for approximately six (6) seconds. The remote backlight will flash six times. When the backlight light goes away, the remote is now in Child Lock. Pressing any buttons while in Child Lock will yield no movement to your adjustable base.
• Deaktivace dětské pojistky: Stiskněte a podržte NOHA NAHORU a NOHA DOLŮ buttons together for approximately six (6) seconds. The remote backlight will flash twice. When the backlight light goes away, the remote is no longer in Child Lock, and the remote and adjustable base will work normally.

4. Údržba

• Čištění: Dálkový ovladač otírejte měkkým, suchým hadříkem. Nepoužívejte tekuté čisticí prostředky ani abrazivní materiály.
• Výměna baterie: Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or inconsistent. Always replace all three batteries at the same time with new ones.
• Skladování: Dálkový ovladač skladujte na suchém místě mimo dosah extrémních teplot a přímého slunečního záření.

5. Řešení problémů

Remote not responding to bed movements:

• Zkontrolujte, zda jsou baterie správně vloženy a zda jsou dostatečně nabité. V případě potřeby je vyměňte.
• Ensure the remote is properly paired with the bed base. Repeat the pairing process (Section 2.2).
• Verify that the Child Lock feature is not activated (Section 3.2).
• Ujistěte se, že mezi dálkovým ovladačem a přijímačem základny postele nejsou žádné překážky.

Remote backlight not working:

• Check battery charge. Low batteries may affect backlight functionality.
