1. Úvod

These u-Box tube rock sliders are designed to provide robust side and undercarriage protection for your vehicle. 2. Kompatibilita

These rock sliders are compatible with the following vehicle models:

• 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner 5th Generation models.

Vyloučení: Please note that these rock sliders are ne compatible with the following 4Runner trims:

• Omezený
• Lilek
• TRD Sport
• 2010-2013 SR5

3. Co je v krabici

Před zahájením instalace ověřte, zda jsou všechny komponenty přítomny:

• 2 × Tube Sliders (Passenger & Driver Sides)
• Sada montážního hardwaru

4. Bezpečnostní opatření

Always prioritize safety during installation and operation. Failure to follow these precautions may result in injury or damage to the product or vehicle.

• Používejte vhodné osobní ochranné prostředky (OOP), včetně ochranných brýlí a rukavic.

• Use jack stands to support the vehicle if lifting is required.

5. Pokyny k instalaci

The u-Box rock sliders are designed for a straightforward bolt-on installation. No drilling is required, as they utilize existing factory mounting points on your vehicle. If your vehicle is equipped with factory running boards, they must be removed prior to installing these rock sliders.

5.2. Kroky před instalací

1. Zaparkujte vozidlo na rovném a stabilním povrchu a zatáhněte parkovací brzdu.
2. If present, remove any existing factory running boards or side steps. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for specific removal instructions.
3. Identify the factory mounting points along the rocker panel area of your vehicle's frame.
4. Clean the mounting areas to ensure a secure fit.

5.3. Mounting the Rock Sliders

1. Position one of the tube sliders against the vehicle's frame, aligning the mounting brackets with the factory mounting points. Ensure you are using the correct slider for the passenger or driver side.
2. Secure the slider using the provided mounting hardware. Start all bolts by hand to prevent cross-threading.
3. Once all bolts are started, gradually tighten them using a socket wrench.
4. Refer to the detailed installation guide (included in the box) for specific torque specifications for each fastener. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the recommended torque.

6. After installation, double-check all fasteners to ensure they are securely tightened.

6. Provoz a použití

The u-Box rock sliders are designed to protect your vehicle's rocker panels and undercarriage during off-road driving. Their high-and-tight design maximizes ground clearance, which is crucial for navigating challenging terrains.

7. Údržba

• Pravidelný úklid: Clean the rock sliders periodically with mild soap and water to remove dirt, mud, and road grime. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
• Kontrola poškození: After off-road use, inspect the sliders for any signs of damage, such as dents, scratches, or bent components. Address any damage promptly to prevent further issues.
• Zkontrolujte spojovací prvky: Periodically check all mounting bolts and nuts to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten to factory specifications if necessary.
• Inspect Coating: The textured black powder coat with E-coating provides corrosion resistance. If the coating is chipped or scratched, consider touch-up paint to prevent rust.

8. Řešení problémů

Tato část se zabývá běžnými problémy, se kterými se můžete setkat.

• Volný střih: If the rock sliders feel loose after installation, re-check all mounting hardware. Ensure bolts are tightened to the recommended torque specifications. Over time, vibrations can cause fasteners to loosen, so periodic checks are important.
• Neobvyklé zvuky: Rattling or squeaking noises may indicate loose hardware or contact between the slider and another vehicle component. Inspect all mounting points and check for any points of contact that might require adjustment.
• Koroze/rez: While the product features a durable coating, severe impacts or prolonged exposure to harsh conditions without maintenance can lead to coating damage and potential corrosion. Clean and apply touch-up paint to damaged areas promptly.
• Obtížnost srovnání: Ensure you have the correct slider for the correct side of the vehicle. Verify that no debris or obstructions are preventing proper alignment with the factory mounting points.
