Pokyny pro nastavení
- Připevnit k masce: Locate the quick-release mask strap keeper on the snorkel. Slide your diving mask strap through the opening of the keeper. Ensure the snorkel is positioned on the left side of your head for optimal comfort and function.
- Upravit pozici: With the mask on your face, adjust the snorkel's height and angle so that the mouthpiece comfortably reaches your mouth without pulling on the mask or causing strain. The flexible corrugated tube allows for fine adjustments.
- Check Mouthpiece Fit: Insert the silicone mouthpiece into your mouth. Bite down gently on the tabs and ensure a secure, comfortable seal around your lips. The mouthpiece should not feel loose or cause jaw discomfort.
- Kontrola před ponorem: Before entering the water, perform a quick check to ensure all connections are secure and the snorkel feels comfortable.
Návod k obsluze
- Breathing on the Surface: While floating on the surface, breathe normally and deeply through the snorkel. The wide elliptical bore is designed to provide ample proudění vzduchu.
- Submerging with Dry Top: When you submerge, the dry-top system's floating valve will automatically seal the breathing tube, preventing water from entering. You will not be able to inhale through the snorkel while submerged.
- Surfacing and Clearing Water: Upon surfacing, any small amount of water that may have entered the snorkel (e.g., from splashes) can be easily expelled. Exhale sharply and forcefully through the mouthpiece. The lower purge valve will allow the water to escape quickly.
- Continuous Snorkeling: Maintain a relaxed breathing pattern. If you feel any resistance or water, perform a sharp exhale to clear the snorkel.
Údržba
- Opláchněte po každém použití: After every use, thoroughly rinse the snorkel with fresh, clean water. Pay special attention to the mouthpiece, dry-top mechanism, and purge valve to remove salt, sand, and chlorine.
- Zkontrolujte komponenty: Regularly inspect the silicone mouthpiece for tears or damage, and check the flexible tube for cracks. Ensure the dry-top valve moves freely and the purge valve is clear of debris.
- Skladování: Store the snorkel in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid storing it in a compressed or bent position to prevent permanent deformation of the flexible tube or mouthpiece.
- Vyhněte se agresivním chemikáliím: Do not use harsh detergents, solvents, or chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the silicone and plastic components.
