3. Nastavení

1. Počáteční aktivace baterie: The thermometer comes with a pre-installed battery. Before first use, locate the small pull tab near the battery compartment on the back of the device. Gently pull and remove this tab to activate the battery.
2. Zapnutí: Press the power button located on the top of the thermometer. The display will show a full screen for approximately 2 seconds, followed by the last measured temperature, and then 'Lo' with a flashing '°F' or '°C' indicating it's ready for measurement.

• Rektální použití: For infants and young children, this method often provides the most accurate readings. Lubricate the tip with a water-soluble jelly. Gently insert the tip into the rectum.
3. Proveďte měření: Keep the thermometer in place until you hear a series of beeps or the voice prompt announces the temperature. The measurement typically takes about 8-10 seconds.
4. Výsledky čtení: The temperature will be displayed on the large LCD screen. If the temperature is within the normal range, the backlight will be blue. If a fever is detected, the backlight will turn red, providing a clear visual alert. The voice function will also announce the reading.
5. Vypnout: The thermometer will automatically shut off after approximately 10 minutes to conserve battery life. You can also manually turn it off by pressing the power button.
