1. Úvod

Thank you for choosing the ECD Germany 43L Electronic Safe. This safe is designed to provide secure storage for your valuables, including cash, jewelry, documents, and other important items. It features a robust steel construction, an electronic keypad for PIN access, and a traditional key override for emergency situations. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.

2. Bezpečnostní pokyny

• Neskladujte nouzové klíče uvnitř trezoru. Always keep the emergency keys in a secure location outside the safe, accessible only to authorized individuals.
• Keep your PIN confidential. Do not share your personal identification number (PIN) with unauthorized persons.
• Nevystavujte trezor extrémním teplotám nebo vlhkosti. This can damage the electronic components and affect the safe's functionality.
• Zajistěte správnou instalaci baterie. Incorrect battery polarity can cause damage to the electronic lock.
• Mount the safe securely. For maximum security, always utilize the pre-drilled mounting holes to anchor the safe to a wall or floor.

4. Nastavení a instalace

4.1 Instalace baterie

1. Najděte přihrádku na baterie na vnitřní straně dvířek trezoru.
2. Otevřete kryt bateriového prostoru.
3. Vložte 4 baterie AA, dbejte na správnou polaritu (+/-).
4. Zavřete kryt prostoru pro baterie.

4.2 Initial PIN Setup

Upon first use, or after battery replacement, you will need to set your personal PIN.

1. S otevřenými dvířky trezoru najděte červené resetovací tlačítko na vnitřní straně dvířek, poblíž pantu.
2. Press the red reset button. You will hear a beep, and the yellow indicator light on the keypad will illuminate.
3. Do 5 sekund zadejte na klávesnici požadovaný 3 až 8místný PIN.
4. Confirm your PIN by pressing the "#" button. You will hear a confirmation beep.
5. Test the new PIN with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.

4.3 Montáž trezoru

For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided bolt anchors.

1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, such as a solid wall or floor.
2. Identify the pre-drilled holes on the back and bottom of the safe.
3. Umístěte trezor a označte si body pro vrtání skrz předvrtané otvory.

5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the bolt anchors.

5. Návod k obsluze

5.1 Opening the Safe with PIN

1. Zadejte na klávesnici svůj 3 až 8místný PIN.
2. Stiskněte tlačítko „#“. Rozsvítí se zelená kontrolka.
3. Do 5 sekund otočte knoflíkem ve směru hodinových ručiček a otevřete dvířka trezoru.

5.2 Otevření trezoru nouzovým klíčem

The emergency key provides access if you forget your PIN or if the batteries are depleted.

1. Locate the concealed keyhole, usually behind the ECD Germany logo plate or a removable cover on the keypad.
2. Vložte nouzový klíč do klíčové dírky a otočte jím proti směru hodinových ručiček.
3. While holding the key turned, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
4. Jakmile se dveře otevřou, vyjměte klíč.

5.3 Changing the PIN

You can change your PIN at any time while the safe door is open.

1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button on the inside of the door.
2. The yellow indicator light will illuminate.
3. Enter your new 3 to 8 digit PIN.
4. Confirm your new PIN by pressing the "#" button.
5. Test the new PIN with the door open before closing.

6. Údržba

6.1 Výměna baterie

When the batteries are low, the red indicator light on the keypad may flash or the safe may not respond. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

1. Open the safe using your PIN or the emergency key.
2. Locate and open the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
3. Vyjměte staré baterie a zlikvidujte je zodpovědně.
4. Vložte 4 nové baterie typu AA a dbejte na správnou polaritu.
5. Zavřete přihrádku na baterie.

6.2 Čištění

Vnější povrch trezoru očistěte měkkým hadříkem.amp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the powder-coated finish.

6.3 Internal Protection

The safe includes a protective felt mat on the inside to prevent scratches and damage to your valuables. Ensure this mat is properly placed. The removable intermediate shelf can be adjusted or removed to accommodate items of various sizes.

7. Řešení problémů

• Trezor se neotevírá PINem:
  - Ensure you are entering the correct PIN. Try again carefully.
  - Check if the batteries are low. Replace them if necessary.
  - K otevření trezoru použijte nouzový klíč.
• Klávesnice nereaguje:
  - Replace the batteries with new ones.
  - Ensure the battery compartment is closed securely.
• Dveře se nezavírají správně:
  - Check for any obstructions preventing the door from closing fully.
  - Ensure the locking bolts are retracted before attempting to close.
• Forgotten PIN:
  - K otevření trezoru použijte nouzový klíč.
  - Once open, reset the PIN using the red reset button as described in Section 4.2.
