Důležitá poznámka: This system is designed for municipal tap water and cold water sources only. It does not reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and is not suitable for well water or hot water. The system retains beneficial minerals such as potassium, calcium, sodium, and magnesium.

4. Nastavení a instalace

Follow these steps to install your Waterdrop TST-UF-B water filter system. For a visual guide, please refer to the installation video below.

Opatření pro instalaci:

  • Do not use in freezing weather; empty the housing to prevent damage.
  • Keep small parts out of reach of young children.
  • Follow local rules for installation.

Kroky instalace:

  1. Install the Feed Water Adapter (3/8" or 1/2") (cold water only):
    • Shut off the water supply. Turn on the kitchen faucet to release water pressure.
    • Odpojte potrubí studené vody od ventilu přívodu studené vody.
    • If water tubing and feed water adapter are separate, connect the adapter to the inlet tubing before installation.
    • Twist the feed water adapter onto the cold water supply valve (with its washer) and tighten with an adjustable wrench.

  2. Nainstalujte kohoutek:

    • Insert the faucet stem into the hole on the countertop. (NOTE: If no hole exists, drill a 1" hole or use the soap dispenser hole).
    • Under the sink, slip on other parts in the order shown in the picture (refer to video for visual).
    • Insert the quick-connect fitting onto the faucet stem fully and firmly, then put on the blue lock clip.
  3. Připojit hadičky:
    • Connect the inlet water tubing from the feed water adapter to the inlet water port of the filter system and pop the lock clip on the fitting.
    • Connect the outlet water tubing from the faucet to the outlet water port of the filter system and pop the lock clip on the fitting.
  4. Fix the System:
    • Option 1: Stand Alone: The system can stand directly inside the sink cabinet.
    • Option 2: Wall Mount: Drill two holes on the cabinet wall, insert two screws into the holes, and hang the filter onto the screws. Place supports under the base of each housing to carry the water weight and protect the threads from weakening over time.

5. Návod k obsluze

After successful installation, follow these steps to prepare your system for use.

  1. Check for Leaks and Flush the Filter:
    • Otevřete ventil přívodu studené vody.
    • Check for leaks at all connectors, components, valves, and joints. Address any leaks immediately.
    • Turn on the new dedicated faucet.
    • Flush continuously for 10 minutes until the water runs clear. This removes air and carbon fines from the new filters.

Understanding TDS:

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) refers to the total concentration of dissolved substances in water. It includes inorganic salts (like calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium) and small amounts of organic matter. While often used as an indicator of water quality, TDS alone does not determine if water is safe to drink. Many beneficial minerals contribute to TDS, and a low TDS reading does not necessarily mean water is cleaner or safer, nor does a high TDS reading mean it's unsafe. This filter system is designed to retain beneficial minerals, so it will not significantly reduce TDS levels.

6. Údržba (výměna filtru)

Regular filter replacement is crucial for maintaining optimal water quality and system performance. The filter life varies based on water quality and usage.

Recommended Filter Replacement Schedule:

  • PP Filter (P1): 6-8 months
  • UF Filter (U2): 12 months
  • CT Filter (C3): 12-24 months

To replace the filter for your TST-UF/TST-UF-B system, search for B0D91M9322 for the WD-P1 filter, B0D91VJ8ZK for the WD-U2 filter, B0D91VQ298 for the WD-C3 filter.

Postup výměny filtru:

  1. Odstraňte starý filtr:
    • Turn off the water supply and open the faucet to release pressure and drain water.
    • Place a towel under the unit to catch any drips.
    • Remove the lock clip and pull out the inlet/outlet tubing.
    • Take the system out of the cabinet (if wall-mounted).
    • Use the included wrench to unscrew the fastening ring.
    • Hold the system and pull out the old cartridge.
    • Remove and discard the old filter.
  2. Instalace nového filtru:
    • Insert the new filter until the rings are fully seated.
    • Press the housing firmly into place.
    • Tighten the ring with the wrench.
    • Connect the tubing and attach the lock clip.
    • Follow the labels (P1, U2, C3) to ensure correct filter order.
  3. Propláchněte systém:
    • Otevřete ventil přívodu studené vody a zkontrolujte těsnost.
    • Otevřete kohoutek.
    • Flush for 10 minutes until the water runs clear.
