5. Place the strengthened slat platform onto the bed frame. Secure the slats as indicated in the assembly guide.
6. Once all components are in place, fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.
7. Verify the bed frame is stable and all connections are secure before placing a mattress on it.

Operating the Footboard Bench
