3.1 Instalace baterie

The TrapX device comes with a Lithium Polymer battery included. Ensure the battery is properly inserted into the device. Refer to the diagram below for the battery compartment location.

3.2 Device Placement and Attachment

Position the TrapX device securely near your traditional animal trap. The device should be placed in a location where its motion sensor can effectively detect activity around or within the trap. Ensure it does not obstruct the trap's mechanism or the animal's entry/exit points.

3.3 Instalace a párování aplikace

1. Stáhněte si aplikaci: Hledat the "Noli" app on your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and install it.
2. Vytvořit účet: Open the Noli app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new user account or log in if you already have one.
3. Přidat zařízení: Within the app, navigate to the "Add Device" or "Products" section. Select "TrapX" from the list of available devices.
4. Párování: Follow the app's prompts to pair your TrapX device. This typically involves turning on the TrapX device and ensuring your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled. The app will guide you through the connection process.
5. Konfigurace: Once paired, you can configure alert settings, notification preferences (SMS, email, in-app), and monitor your device's status.

4. Návod k obsluze

4.1 Monitoring Trap Activity

Once your TrapX device is set up and paired, it will begin monitoring the area around your trap. The app will display the current status of your trap. Common statuses include:

• Sniffing: Indicates that the device has detected motion near the trap, suggesting an animal is investigating but not yet captured.
• Captured: Indicates that an animal has been successfully caught in the trap. This triggers an immediate alert.

4.2 Real-Time Alerts

TrapX provides instant notifications to your smartphone when activity is detected. These alerts can be configured within the Noli app to be sent via:

• Mobilní oznámení: Push notifications directly to your smartphone.
• SMS: Text messages to your registered phone number.
• E-mail: Notifications sent to your registered email address.

These alerts ensure you are promptly informed, allowing for timely intervention and humane handling of captured wildlife.

4.3 Humane Release

Upon receiving a "Captured" alert, it is crucial to attend to the trap as quickly as possible. This minimizes stress to the captured animal and allows for its swift and humane release back into its natural environment, away from your property. TrapX is designed to support eco-friendly wildlife control practices.

5. Údržba

5.1 Čištění

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your TrapX device, keep it clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.

5.2 Výměna baterie

The TrapX device operates on a Lithium Polymer battery. When the battery level is low, the app will notify you. To replace the battery, carefully open the battery compartment, remove the old battery, and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity. Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

If storing the TrapX device for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and damage. Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
