This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation and operation of the EASYGUARD ECS002PP-BM-BC2-1 remote starter system. This system allows you to remotely start and stop your vehicle using your factory key fob and offers passive keyless entry (PKE) functionality. Key Compatibility Requirements:

• Your vehicle must have a factory OEM Push Start Button.
• You must have two (2) working factory key fobs. One key fob will be placed inside the bypass module, and the other will be used for daily operation and remote control.

6. Nastavení a instalace

The installation process involves integrating the control module and bypass module with your vehicle's existing wiring. Due to the complexity of vehicle electrical systems, professional installation is strongly recommended.

6.1. Bypass Module Installation

The bypass module is crucial for dealing with the vehicle's chip immobilizer. The module is included in your kit. Follow these steps for installation:

1. Locate the key sensing area in your vehicle.
2. Carefully open one of your factory key fobs.
3. Raise the contact spring slightly to ensure good contact with the battery board.
4. Insert the battery board into the key fob.
5. Connect the bypass module to the key fob.
6. Secure the key fob with adhesive tape, wrapping it several times.
7. Place the key button side up within the bypass module.
8. Position the bypass module near the key sensing area in your vehicle.

6.2. Wiring Method (BDC1, BDC2 & BDC3 Vehicles)

The system utilizes a plug-and-play wire harness. Refer to the wiring diagram for connecting the main control module to your vehicle's electrical system. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly matched to avoid damage.

Note: An English wiring diagram is available. Contact customer support if you need to review it before installation. It is highly recommended to have this kit installed by a trained alarm installer if you do not have prior experience.

7.1. Remote Engine Start/Stop

To remotely start or stop your vehicle, use your factory key fob:

• Začít: Press the 'Lock' button on your factory key fob three (3) times.
• To Shut Off: Press the 'Trunk' button on your factory key fob three (3) times.

Remote engine start allows you to pre-cool your car in hot weather or pre-warm it in cold weather, enhancing comfort before you enter the vehicle.

7.2. Passive Keyless Entry (PKE)

The PKE feature automatically locks and unlocks your car doors as you approach or walk away from the vehicle with your key fob.

• Automatic Unlock: When you approach the vehicle within 3-6 feet with your key fob, the car doors will automatically unlock.
