3. Nastavení a příprava

Před prvním použitím

1. Remove any labels, protective covers, or stickers from the iron's soleplate and body.
2. It is normal for a slight odor to be present during the first few uses as manufacturing residues burn off. This is harmless and will dissipate.
3. For optimal performance, it is recommended to iron an old piece of fabric or towel first to ensure no residue transfers to your garments.

Temperature and Steam Control (SmartSteam™)

The SmartSteam™ Control automatically regulates the steam output based on the temperature setting you select. This simplifies the ironing process by eliminating the need to manually adjust steam levels.

1. Zapojte žehličku do standardní elektrické zásuvky.
2. Turn the temperature dial to the desired fabric setting (e.g., Cotton, Linen, Wool, Poly, Nylon, Silk). Refer to the fabric care label on your garment.
3. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the iron is heating. It will turn off when the desired temperature is reached.
4. For steam ironing, ensure the water tank is filled and select a temperature setting within the steam range (typically higher settings like Cotton or Linen).

To dry iron, simply set the temperature dial to the desired fabric setting. Ensure the water tank is empty or the steam function is not engaged. The iron will heat up to the selected temperature without producing steam.

Parní žehlení

For steam ironing, ensure the water tank is filled and the temperature dial is set to a steam-compatible setting (usually 4-6 on the dial, or specific fabric types like Cotton or Linen). Once the iron reaches the set temperature, steam will be automatically produced as you iron.

Funkce výbuchu páry

For stubborn wrinkles, press the Burst of Steam button (cloud icon) to release an extra surge of steam. This function is most effective when the iron is at its highest temperature settings. Allow a few seconds between bursts for the steam to regenerate.

Funkce rozprašování mlhy

The Spray Mist button (spray icon) provides a fine mist of water to dampen fabrics, making it easier to remove creases. Press the button to activate the spray. This function can be used with or without steam.

For enhanced safety and energy saving, your iron is equipped with a 3-Way Auto Shutoff feature:

• If left motionless on its soleplate or side, the iron will automatically shut off after 30 seconds.
• If left motionless on its heel rest, the iron will automatically shut off after 8 minutes.

To reset the iron and resume heating, simply move the iron. The indicator light will illuminate again as it reheats.

Your iron features an Auto Clean® system to flush out mineral buildup and maintain optimal steam performance. It is recommended to use this function monthly or as needed.

After each use, it is recommended to empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely. Open the water fill cover and invert the iron over a sink to drain. Once empty, press the Cord Reel button to retract the power cord for neat and compact storage. Store the iron upright on its heel rest.
