1. Úvod

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Lepmerk Metal Detector. Designed for both adults and kids, this high-precision, waterproof metal detector features a pinpoint function, LCD display, and a 10-inch detection range, making it ideal for locating gold, silver, coins, and other treasures.

Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure safe and effective operation.

2. Obsah balení

Upon opening your package, please verify that all components listed below are present and in good condition:

3. Nastavení a montáž

Pro sestavení detektoru kovů postupujte podle těchto kroků:

1. Připojení vyhledávací cívky: Connect the 10-inch search coil to the lower end of the adjustable telescopic rod. Secure it using the provided fixing knob and ensure the cable is routed along the rod.
2. Connect the Support Bar: Slide the support bar onto the main shaft of the detector.
3. Attach the Grips and Arm Support: Secure the ergonomic grips and arm support to the upper section of the main shaft.
4. Namontujte ovládací skříň: Slide the display/control box onto the top of the main shaft, ensuring it clicks securely into place. Tighten any long screws to fix it firmly.
5. Připojit kabely: Plug the search coil cable into the designated port on the control box.
6. Nainstalujte baterie: Open the battery compartment on the control box and insert the two 9V batteries, observing polarity.
7. Připojení sluchátek: If desired, plug the headphones into the headphone jack located behind the display/controller.

4. Provozní režimy

Your Lepmerk Metal Detector offers four distinct operating modes to optimize your treasure hunting experience:

• Režim VŠECHNY KOVY: In this mode, the detector will notify you when it senses any type of metal. It is ideal for general searching when you want to find all metallic objects without discrimination.
• Režim DISC (diskriminace): This mode allows you to discriminate against unwanted types of metal. You can set the detector to ignore certain metals, focusing your search on specific targets like gold or silver.
• Režim NOTCH: Similar to DISC mode, NOTCH mode allows you to eliminate specific metal targets from detection. Press "NOTCH", then use the "+" or "-" buttons to select and eliminate the target ID you wish to ignore.
• Režim PP (Pinpoint): Once you have detected a metal object, use PP mode to accurately identify its specific location. The closer you get to the metal target, the louder the audio tone produced by the detector, helping you pinpoint the exact spot for excavation.

4.1. Three-Tone Audio Discrimination

The detector is equipped with three distinct audio tones (treble, midrange, and bass) that correspond to different types of metals. This feature assists in identifying the type of metal detected without looking at the display.

4.2. LCD Display and Backlight

The backlit LCD display provides crucial information at a glance, including possible metal types, target depth, DISC range, SENS level, volume, and battery condition, along with a digital display for target ID. Press the light button on the controller to turn the display backlight on or off, useful in dark environments.

5. Voděodolné vlastnosti

The 10-inch search coil is IP68 waterproof, allowing for effective operation in shallow water environments such as beaches, streams, and during rainy conditions. This expands your treasure hunting possibilities significantly. Note: The control box is NOT waterproof and must be kept dry.

6. Údržba

• Čištění: After each use, especially in wet or dirty conditions, wipe down the search coil and rod with a damp cloth. Ensure the control box remains dry.
• Péče o baterie: If the metal detector will not be used for an extended period, remove the 9V batteries from the control box to prevent leakage and prolong battery life.
• Skladování: Store the detector in its portable carrying bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Kontrola kabelů: Pravidelně kontrolujte všechny kabely a připojení, zda nevykazují známky opotřebení nebo poškození.

7. Řešení problémů

If you encounter issues with your metal detector, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Bez napájení:
  • Zkontrolujte, zda jsou baterie správně vloženy se správnou polaritou.
  • Ensure batteries have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
  • Verify all connections to the control box are secure.
• No Detection/Weak Signal:
  • Adjust the sensitivity (SENS) level.
  • Ensure the search coil cable is securely connected.
  • Check if you are in the correct operating mode (e.g., ALL METAL for general detection).
  • Perform a test with a known metal object to confirm functionality.
• Falešné signály/Chvění:
  • Lower the sensitivity (SENS) level.
  • Přesuňte se dál od zdrojů elektromagnetického rušení (elektrické vedení, jiná elektronika).
  • Ensure the search coil cable is tightly wound around the rod and not swinging freely.
• Nepřesné určení:
  • Ensure you are in PP (Pinpoint) mode.
  • Slowly sweep the coil over the target area to identify the strongest signal.
