4. Place the lid onto the processing bowl, aligning the feed tube on the lid with the handle on the bowl. Turn the lid clockwise until it clicks and locks into position. The unit will not operate unless the bowl and lid are properly locked.
5. Insert the large food pusher into the feed chute. For smaller items, the small food pusher can be inserted into the large one. The unit will not operate until the large food pusher engages the protective interlock.
