Nastavení

1. Vybalení a kontrola

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the incubator for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all listed components are present.

2. Umístění

Place the incubator on a stable, level surface indoors, away from direct sunlight, drafts, or extreme temperature fluctuations. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

• Connect the power cord to the incubator and then to a suitable power outlet.
• Fill the external water bottle with distilled or de-chlorinated water and attach it to the designated port on the incubator. This system is designed to refill water without opening the lid, preventing sudden drops in temperature and humidity.

• Allow the incubator to run for at least 2-4 hours to stabilize the internal temperature and humidity before placing eggs inside. It is recommended to use a secondary calibrated thermometer/hygrometer to verify readings.

1. Umístění vajec

Carefully place up to 30 fertilized chicken eggs into the egg turning trays. Ensure the pointed end of the egg is facing downwards for proper air cell development.

2. Temperature and Humidity Settings

The incubator is pre-set for optimal chicken egg incubation. The digital display will show current temperature and humidity.

5. Lockdown Phase (Hatching)

Approximately 3 days before the expected hatch date (around day 19 for chickens), the automatic egg turning function will auto-stop. During this "lockdown" phase, do not open the incubator. Increase humidity by ensuring the water reservoir is full. This higher humidity helps chicks pip and hatch more easily.

1. Čištění

After each hatch, it is crucial to thoroughly clean the incubator to prevent bacterial growth and ensure a healthy environment for future hatches.

• Unplug the incubator from the power source.
• Remove all egg trays and the bottom grate. These plastic components are easy to clean with warm, soapy water and a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely.
• Wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces of the incubator with a damp cloth and a mild disinfectant solution. Avoid getting water into the electrical components.
• Clean the water reservoir and tubing regularly to prevent algae or mineral buildup.
• Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the incubator.
