Installation is designed to be straightforward, requiring only a Philips screwdriver. No additional drilling or locksmith is typically needed.

Door Specifications:

Pro správnou instalaci se ujistěte, že vaše dveře splňují následující specifikace:

• Door Thickness: 1 ⅜" ~ 2" (33-50mm)
• Bore Hole Diameter: 2 ⅛" (54mm)
• Bore Hole Backset: 2 ⅜" or 2 ¾" (60mm or 70mm)

1. Adjust Deadbolt Length: If necessary, adjust the deadbolt latch to match your door's backset (60mm or 70mm).
2. Instalace závory: Slide the deadbolt into the door edge, ensuring the "UP" arrow on the deadbolt is facing upwards. Secure it with the provided screws.
3. Instalace předního panelu: Thread the wire connector through the deadbolt hole. Carefully align the front panel (keypad side) with the deadbolt and slide the pin vertically into the deadbolt mechanism. Ensure the front panel is facing outside.
4. Instalace montážní desky: Remove the battery cover from the back panel. Unscrew and remove the mounting plate from the back panel. Slide the rubber gasket onto the mounting plate and thread the wire connector through the gasket. Install the mounting plate onto the door, securing it with the long screws.
5. Adjust Calibration Switch: Before attaching the back panel, identify your door's handing (left-facing or right-facing bolt) by viewing from inside looking out. Adjust the calibration switch on the back panel's circuit board to 'L' for left-facing or 'R' for right-facing.
6. Adjust Door Knob: Ensure the door knob on the back panel is in the correct orientation (horizontal for left-facing bolt, vertical for right-facing bolt).
7. Connect Wires and Attach Back Panel: Plug the wire connector from the front panel into the corresponding port on the back panel. Carefully attach the back panel to the mounting plate, ensuring wires are not pinched. Secure with screws.
8. Nainstalujte baterie: Insert 4 AA batteries into the battery compartment. Replace the battery cover.

5. Operating Your Sifely Smart Deadbolt

Your Sifely Smart Deadbolt offers multiple convenient ways to access your property.

5.1. Přístup z klávesnice

To unlock using the keypad:

1. Touch the keypad to activate the screen. The numbers will illuminate.
2. Enter your programmed passcode.
3. Press the lock icon (bottom right) to confirm and unlock the door.

To lock using the keypad: Press and hold the lock icon on the keypad for a few seconds.

5.2. Key Fob Access

To unlock using a key fob:

1. Present the Sifely key fob to the keypad.
2. The lock will beep and unlock.

5.3. Ovládání aplikací

The Sifely app provides full control over your smart lock from your smartphone.

• Dálkové zamykání/odemykání: With the optional Sifely Wi-Fi Gateway (sold separately), you can lock or unlock your door from anywhere.
• Generování přístupových kódů: Create and manage various types of passcodes (permanent, timed, one-time, recurring) directly from the app.
• eKlíče: Share digital keys with guests or family members, granting them temporary or permanent access.
• Přístupové protokoly: View real-time access logs to monitor who enters and exits your property.
• Automatický zámek: Configure the auto-lock feature to automatically lock the door after a set period.

6. Údržba

6.1. Výměna baterie

The Sifely Smart Deadbolt is powered by 4 AA batteries, which typically last over one year. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an audible warning. To replace the batteries:

1. Remove the battery cover from the back panel of the lock.
2. Vyjměte staré baterie AA.
3. Vložte 4 nové baterie typu AA a dbejte na správnou polaritu (+/-).
4. Nasaďte kryt baterie.

6.2. Čištění

To clean your Sifely Smart Deadbolt, use a soft, damp hadříkem. Nepoužívejte abrazivní čisticí prostředky ani rozpouštědla, která by mohla poškodit povrchovou úpravu nebo elektronické součástky.

7. Řešení problémů

7.1. Why is my lock working backwards? Why does it unlock when I touch the keypad once?

The reason for the backwards operation of the deadbolt is typically due to incorrect installation. Please re-install the deadbolt to solve the issue. During re-installation, pay careful attention to the following:

• Calibration Switch: Ensure the calibration switch on the back panel is set correctly for a left-facing bolt ('L') or right-facing bolt ('R').
• Door Knob Position: Verify the door knob position is correct (horizontal for left-facing bolt, vertical for right-facing bolt).

Please put the calibration switch and door knob to the correct position when you reinstall the lock. If the issue persists, please contact customer support.
