Instalace a nabíjení baterie

Your walkie talkies come with pre-installed rechargeable Li-ion batteries. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the devices.

1. To access the battery compartment, gently slide the belt clip upwards to remove it.
2. Carefully open the battery cover on the back of the unit.
3. Ensure the Li-ion battery is correctly seated with the contacts aligned.
4. Close the battery cover and reattach the belt clip.
5. Connect one of the provided USB Type-C cables to the charging port located at the top of the walkie talkie, next to the antenna.
6. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port). The included cable allows charging of two radios simultaneously.

Počáteční zapnutí

To power on your walkie talkie:

1. Locate the Power button on the front panel, below the LCD display.
2. Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2-3 seconds until the LCD screen illuminates and you hear a power-on tone.
3. The LCD display will show the current channel number and battery level.

Základní ovládací prvky

• Tlačítko PTT (Push-to-Talk): Located on the side of the radio. Press and hold to transmit your voice, release to listen.
• Tlačítko Menu/Zámek: Used to access the menu settings and to lock/unlock the keypad.
• Up (+) / Down (-) Buttons: Used to navigate through menu options, change channels, or adjust volume.
• Tlačítko MON (Monitor): Used to temporarily disable squelch to listen for weak signals on the current channel.

Channel Selection & Privacy Codes

Your NXGKET walkie talkies support 22 FRS channels and 121 privacy codes (38 CTCSS codes and 83 DCS codes) to minimize interference from other users.

1. Stiskněte tlačítko Menu button once to enter channel selection mode. The channel number will flash.
2. Použijte nahoru (+) or dolů (-) tlačítky vyberte požadovaný kanál (1–22).
3. Stiskněte tlačítko Menu button again to enter privacy code selection mode. The privacy code will flash.
4. Použijte nahoru (+) or dolů (-) tlačítky vyberte požadovaný privátní kód (0–121).
5. Stiskněte tlačítko Menu button a third time or wait a few seconds for the setting to be saved.

Poznámka: For successful communication, all radios in your group must be set to the same channel and privacy code.

Funkce VOX (hlasově ovládaná ústředna)

The VOX function allows for hands-free communication. When activated, the radio will automatically transmit when it detects your voice, and stop transmitting when you stop speaking.

1. Stiskněte tlačítko Menu button repeatedly until the VOX icon appears on the display.
2. Použijte nahoru (+) or dolů (-) buttons to select the VOX sensitivity level (1-3, with 3 being the most sensitive). Select 'OFF' to disable VOX.
3. Stiskněte tlačítko Menu button or wait for the setting to save.

Stay informed about severe weather conditions with the built-in NOAA Weather Alert feature.

• Stiskněte a podržte nahoru (+) button for 2-3 seconds to scan 10 NOAA radio channels transmitting in your area.
• The radio will automatically tune to the strongest weather broadcast.

The NXGKET walkie talkies offer a communication range of up to 3 miles in open fields. Factors such as terrain, weather conditions, buildings, and electromagnetic interference can affect the actual range.

Údržba

Péče o baterie

• Avoid fully discharging the batteries regularly to prolong their lifespan.
• Charge batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to about 50% and recharge every 3-6 months.
