2. Gently push the probes of the outdoor soil moisture sensor into the soil until the base of the sensor is flush with the soil surface. Avoid forcing the sensor, which could damage the probes.
3. Ensure the outdoor sensor is within the 80-meter wireless range of the indoor monitor. Obstacles like thick walls or metal structures can reduce this range.

5.1 Reading the Indoor Monitor

The indoor monitor's LCD screen provides the following information:
