5. Nastavení

5.1 Instalace baterie

The YY-400 requires 3 x 1.5V (LR44) button batteries (not included). To install or replace batteries:

1. Unscrew the top cap of the device.
2. Insert the 3 LR44 batteries according to the polarity markings.
3. Securely screw the top cap back on.

Before first use, remove the protective cap from the probe. If the probe appears dry, rinse it with distilled water.

6.1 Provedení měření

3. Gently stir the water and wait for the reading to stabilize on the LCD screen.

5. To switch between measurement modes (pH, ORP, H2, Temperature), press the MODE/CAL tlačítko.

6.2 Porozumění naměřeným hodnotám

The device displays readings for:

• pH: Measures the acidity or alkalinity of the solution (0.01-14.00pH).
• ORP: Measures the Oxidation-Reduction Potential in millivolts (-999-1999mV).
• H2: Measures hydrogen concentration in ppb (parts per billion) or ppm (parts per million) (0-2400ppb, 0.001-2.400ppm).
• Teplota: Measures temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit (0.1-60.0°C / 32.0-140.0°F).

7. Kalibrace

7.1 pH Kalibrace

Regular pH calibration ensures accuracy. Use the provided pH buffer powders (4.00, 6.86, 9.18) for calibration.

1. Prepare the buffer solutions by dissolving each powder packet in 250ml of distilled water.
2. Turn on the meter and select pH mode.
3. Dip the electrode into the 6.86 pH buffer solution.
4. Stiskněte a podržte MODE/CAL button until the display shows 'CAL'. Release the button.
5. The meter will automatically recognize the buffer and calibrate. Wait for the reading to stabilize and the 'CAL' indicator to disappear.
6. Opláchněte elektrodu destilovanou vodou.
7. Repeat the process for pH 4.00 and pH 9.18 buffer solutions, calibrating from lower to higher pH values.

8.1 Čištění elektrody

After each use, rinse the electrode thoroughly with distilled water to remove any residue. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

8.2 Skladování

Always replace the protective cap on the electrode when not in use. Store the meter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, ensure the electrode is kept moist by adding a few drops of electrode storage solution or pH 4.00 buffer solution to the cap.
