4. Nastavení

4.1 Vybalení

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present and undamaged. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

4.2 Připevnění pomocné rukojeti

The auxiliary handle provides additional stability and control during operation. Loosen the handle clamp by rotating it counter-clockwise, slide the handle onto the drill neck, and tighten it securely in a comfortable position by rotating clockwise. Ensure it is firmly fixed before use.

4.3 Instalace hloubkového dorazu

Insert the metal depth stop rod through the designated hole in the auxiliary handle. Adjust it to the desired drilling depth by sliding it in or out, then secure it by tightening the auxiliary handle clamp. This prevents drilling deeper than intended.

4.4 Vkládání vrtáků

The drill features a keyless chuck for quick bit changes. Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to open the jaws. Insert the drill bit fully into the chuck, ensuring it is centered. Then, rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten it securely. Pull on the bit to confirm it is firmly held.

5.1 Připojení napájení

Before connecting the drill, ensure the On/Off trigger is in the 'Off' position. Connect the power cord to a suitable mains power supply (230V, 50Hz). Always use an appropriate extension cord if necessary, ensuring it is rated for the tool's power consumption.

5.2 Výběr provozního režimu

Use the mode selector switch, typically located on the top of the drill housing, to choose the appropriate operating mode:

The forward/reverse switch, usually located above the trigger, allows you to change the direction of rotation. The forward direction is for drilling, while the reverse direction is useful for removing jammed drill bits or driving/removing screws (if using appropriate accessories). Ensure the switch is in the desired position before starting the drill.

5.5 Postup vrtání

Hold the drill firmly with both hands, using the auxiliary handle for stability. Position the drill bit at the desired drilling point. Press the trigger to start the drill. Apply steady, even pressure. For impact drilling, allow the tool to do the work; excessive force is not required. When finished, release the trigger and wait for the drill bit to stop rotating before setting the tool down.
