4. Nastavení

4.1. Úvahy o umístění

For optimal radio wave reception, place the clock near a window or in an area free from electromagnetic interference. Avoid locations near high-voltage lines, televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, computers, or metal furniture. If using multiple clocks, ensure the 'parent' unit is in a location with good reception.

When using multiple clocks, if they are on different floors, it is recommended to set up a 'parent' unit on each floor. For clocks on the same floor, ensure they are within approximately 30 meters of the 'parent' unit.

4.2. Initial Setup (Parent Unit)

The Seiko ZS250S offers two modes for time synchronization: Mode A (JJY Radio Wave) and Mode B (Smartphone App). You must first set up one clock as the 'parent' unit.

1. Vložte baterie: Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock and insert 6 AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
2. Vyberte režim: On the back of the clock, locate the switch labeled "JJY / APP". Choose your preferred synchronization method.

Mode A: JJY Radio Wave Synchronization

This mode uses standard radio waves for automatic time correction. This is the default and recommended method if reception is good.

1. Set the switch on the back of the clock to "JJY".

Mode B: Smartphone App Synchronization

If radio wave reception is consistently poor (e.g., in reinforced concrete buildings or basements), you can use a dedicated smartphone app to synchronize the time.

1. Set the switch on the back of the clock to "APP".

3. Download the dedicated app "Clock Sync App Blue" from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android).

4.3. Child Unit Setup (for multiple clocks)

Once the 'parent' unit is successfully set up and displaying the correct time, you can set up additional 'child' units to synchronize with it via Bluetooth. The 'child' units will receive time data from the 'parent' unit.

1. For each 'child' unit, insert batteries.
2. Set the switch on the back of the 'child' unit to "子機" (Child Unit).

4. Ensure the 'parent' unit is powered on and within approximately 30 meters (line of sight) of the 'child' unit. The 'child' unit will automatically receive time data from the 'parent' unit.
