4. Nastavení a výměna čepele

The OLFA SK-14 comes preloaded with an SKB-2S-R Rounded-Tip Safety Blade. When the blade becomes dull, it must be replaced with a compatible OLFA blade (SKB-2, SKB-2S, RSKB, or HOB Safety Blades).

4.1. Removing the Old Blade

1. With extreme caution, take a new OLFA SKB-2S-R (or compatible) blade from its packaging.
2. Insert the new blade into the blade carrier, ensuring it is correctly seated and aligned.
3. Slide the blade carrier back into the knife handle until it clicks securely into place.
4. Test the self-retracting mechanism by extending the blade and releasing pressure. The blade should retract smoothly.

To extend the blade, firmly push the blade slider forward with your thumb. The blade will extend as long as continuous pressure is applied to the slider.

5.3. Self-Retracting Mechanism
