Nastavení
1. Instalace a nabíjení baterie
The DS 2600 uses a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before initial use.

Obsluha zařízení
1. Zapnutí/vypnutí
- To power on, slide the Power switch upwards.
- To power off, slide the Power switch downwards and hold until the device shuts down.

The DS 2600 records audio in DSS Pro, MP3, or PCM formats using its omnidirectional stereo microphones.

- Slide the record switch to the 'REC' position to start recording. The recording indicator will illuminate.
- Speak clearly into the microphones.
- To pause recording, slide the switch to the 'HOLD' position. Slide back to 'REC' to resume.

3. Voice-Activated Recording (VCVA)
The Variable Control Voice Actuator (VCVA) allows the device to start and stop recording automatically based on sound levels, conserving memory and battery life.
- Access the menu and navigate to the VCVA settings.
- Enable VCVA and adjust the sensitivity threshold as needed.
- When VCVA is active, recording will begin when sound is detected above the set threshold and pause when it falls below.
4. Editing Functions
The slide switch provides quick access to various editing functions during playback or recording.

5. Přehrávání
- Vyberte požadované file using the navigation pad.
- Slide the switch to the 'PLAY' position to start playback.
- Adjust volume using the +/- buttons.
- Use the fast-forward and rewind buttons to navigate within the recording.
6. Connecting to a Computer for Transcription
Connect your DS 2600 to a computer to transfer recordings and utilize the DSS Player Standard software for transcription.
- Connect the DS 2600 to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
