4.1. Připojení zařízení

  1. Vyhledejte 16pinový datový konektor (DLC) vozidla. Obvykle se nachází pod palubní deskou na straně řidiče.

  3. Firmly plug the VS890S connector into the vehicle's DLC.

5.1. Navigace v hlavní nabídce

Upon powering on, the device will display the Main Menu. Use the Srolovat a Srolovat dolů buttons to navigate through the options, and the Ano tlačítko pro výběr.

  • Diagnostika: Accesses vehicle diagnostic functions, including reading and clearing trouble codes, viewing live data, and more.
  • Vyhledávání DTC: Allows you to manually enter a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) to view jeho definice.
  • Nastavení systému: Configures device settings such as language, display contrast, and units of measurement.
  • Informace o nástroji: Displays details about the scanner, including software version and serial number.
  • Aktualizovat: Used for updating the device's firmware (requires connection to a computer).

5.2. Čtení a mazání chybových kódů

  1. V hlavní nabídce vyberte možnost Diagnostika a stiskněte Ano.
  2. The scanner will establish communication with the vehicle. This may take a few moments.
  3. Po připojení vyberte Číst kódy na view any stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
  4. Chcete-li vymazat kódy, vyberte Vymazat kódy a stiskněte Ano. Confirm the action when prompted. Note: Clearing codes will turn off the Check Engine Light (MIL) but will not fix the underlying problem. Address the issue before clearing codes.

5.3. Vyhledávání DTC

If you have a DTC from another source, you can use the DTC Lookup function to get its definition.

  1. V hlavní nabídce vyberte možnost Vyhledávání DTC a stiskněte Ano.
  2. Použijte Srolovat a Srolovat dolů buttons to select characters and the Ano button to confirm each character.
  3. Once the full DTC is entered, the definition will be displayed.

5.4. Nastavení systému

Customize your scanner's settings.

  1. V hlavní nabídce vyberte možnost Nastavení systému a stiskněte Ano.
  2. Možnosti zahrnují:
    • Přednost: Adjust general settings.
    • Adjust Contrast: Modify screen brightness for better visibility.
