2. Nastavení

2.1 Instalace baterie

The fx-CG50 calculator requires four AAA batteries. These are included in the package.

1. Vyhledejte přihrádku na baterie na zadní straně kalkulačky.

After completing these steps, the calculator will proceed to the Main Menu.

2.3 Ochranný kryt

Always use the provided slide-on protective hard screen cover when the calculator is not in use. This protects the buttons from accidental presses and physical damage, preventing unintended battery drain or damage to the keypad.

3.1 Základní ovládací prvky

3.3 Navigating the Main Menu

The Main Menu provides access to various modes and applications. When you turn the calculator on, it will return to the screen you were last using. To access the Main Menu from any screen, press the MENU tlačítko.

You can select a mode by either:

• Pressing the corresponding number button (e.g., '1' for Run-Matrix).
• Using the scroll pad to highlight the desired mode and then pressing the EXE tlačítko.

3.4 Přample: Fraction Calculation

Let's perform a fraction addition: 1/4 + 2 3/8.

3. Enter '1' for the numerator, then press the down arrow key.
4. Enter '4' for the denominator, then press the right arrow key.

7. Enter '2' for the whole number, then press the right arrow key.

10. Stiskněte tlačítko EXE button to get the answer. The result will be displayed as an improper fraction (e.g., 21/8).
11. To convert to a proper fraction (mixed number), press the gold POSUN tlačítko a poté SD button (located above the DEL button). The result will be 2 5/8.
12. To convert between fraction and decimal, press the SD tlačítko.
13. To delete entries: Press the F1 button (labeled 'DEL-LINE') to delete the current line, or F2 (labeled 'DEL-ALL') to delete all entries. Confirm deletion by pressing F1 (Yes).

The Casio fx-CG50 offers a variety of modes to handle different types of calculations and graphical representations:

• Geometrie: Draw and analyze geometric objects.
• Picture Plot: Analyze images and video by creating graphs over displayed pictures.
• 3D graf: Draw 3D shapes such as spheres, cones, and cylinders.
• Systém: Access system settings, including display, power properties, language, version information, and OS updates.

5. Údržba

• Výměna baterie: Replace all four AAA batteries when the low battery indicator appears or when the calculator fails to power on. Ensure to select the correct battery type in the system settings after replacement.
