5.2 kroky instalace

1. Vypněte přívod vody: Locate and turn off the main water supply to your shower area. Open existing shower faucets to relieve pressure.
2. Demontáž stávajícího sprchového ramene (pokud je k dispozici): Unscrew the existing shower arm from the wall fitting. Clean any old sealant or debris from the wall pipe threads.
3. Příprava nového sprchového ramene: Apply plumber's tape clockwise around the threaded end of the new Kohler shower arm (the end that connects to the wall). Ensure several wraps for a watertight seal.
4. Instalace příruby: Slide the decorative flange over the shower arm, ensuring it faces the wall.
5. Attach Shower Arm to Wall: Carefully thread the shower arm into the 1/2-inch NPT wall fitting. Hand-tighten first, then use an adjustable wrench to tighten an additional 1/2 to 1 full turn until secure and properly oriented. Do not overtighten.

7. Install Showerhead and Handshower: Attach your desired showerhead to the top outlet and your handshower hose to the bottom outlet of the diverter. Apply plumber's tape to these connections as well.

The 2-way diverter allows you to easily switch water flow between your main showerhead and a connected handshower.

• To use the Showerhead: Ensure the diverter handle is in the position that directs water upwards to the showerhead.
• To use the Handshower: Rotate the diverter handle to the position that directs water downwards to the handshower.
• To turn off water: Use your shower's main faucet handle to stop the water flow. The diverter only controls the direction of water, not the on/off function or temperature.
