1. Úvod
This manual provides instructions for the AT&T EL50003 Accessory Handset. This handset is designed to expand your existing AT&T cordless telephone system, offering additional convenience and functionality. It requires a compatible AT&T base unit to operate.
Compatible base units include models: EL52103, EL52203, EL52253, EL52303, EL52353, EL52403, and EL52503.

3. Počáteční nastavení
3.1. Instalace baterie

- Connect the battery connector securely into the jack inside the compartment.
- Place the battery into the compartment with the label facing up.

3.2. Nabíjení sluchátka
Before initial use, charge the handset for at least 10 hours. A full charge ensures optimal battery performance.
- Plug the small end of the AC adapter into the power jack on the back of the handset charger.
- Plug the large end of the AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Place the handset face up in the charger cradle. The NABÍT indicator light on the handset will illuminate, confirming it is charging.

3.3. Registrace sluchátka
The accessory handset must be registered to your AT&T cordless telephone base unit before use. Refer to your base unit's user manual for specific registration instructions, as procedures may vary slightly between models. A common registration process involves:
- Place the accessory handset in the base unit's charger or directly on the base unit.
- Stiskněte a podržte STRANA or Lokátor sluchátek button on the base unit for approximately 4 seconds. The base unit will enter registration mode.
- On the accessory handset, press the # key. The handset will display "Registering..." or a similar message.
- Once registered, the handset will display "Handset X Registered" (where X is the handset number) and emit a confirmation tone. If registration fails, try again.
4. Ovládání ručního ovladače
4.1. Uskutečnění hovoru
- Standard Call: Stiskněte tlačítko TELEFON / FLASH button (green phone icon) or REPRODUKTORa poté vytočte telefonní číslo.
- Pre-dial: Nejprve vytočte telefonní číslo a poté stiskněte TELEFON / FLASH button (green phone icon) or REPRODUKTOR.
4.2. Příjem hovoru
Když telefon zvoní, stiskněte TELEFON / FLASH button (green phone icon) or REPRODUKTOR přijmout hovor.
4.3. Nastavení hlasitosti
Během hovoru stiskněte OBJEM up or down buttons on the side of the handset to adjust the earpiece or speakerphone volume.
4.4. Hlasitý telefon
Stiskněte tlačítko REPRODUKTOR tlačítko pro aktivaci nebo deaktivaci funkce hlasitého odposlechu během hovoru.
4.5. Opakované vytáčení
Stiskněte OPAKOVÁNÍ na view the last numbers dialed. Press the TELEFON / FLASH button (green phone icon) to call the displayed number.
4.6. Ztlumit
Během hovoru stiskněte ZTLUMIT to temporarily silence your microphone. Press ZTLUMIT znovu zapnout zvuk.
4.7. Intercom (INT)
If you have multiple registered handsets, press INT to initiate an intercom call to another handset.
4.8. Navigace v menu
Použijte VÝBĚR/MENU button and the navigation arrows (up/down on the volume rocker) to access and navigate through the handset's menu options for settings and features.
5. Údržba
5.1. Cleaning the Handset
Wipe the handset and charger with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or electronic components.
5.2. Péče o baterie
For optimal battery life, keep the handset in the charger when not in use. If the handset will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
