4. Nastavení

4.1 Instalace a vyjmutí baterie

The BDCDD18N-XJ is part of the BLACK+DECKER 18V Cordless Platform. Ensure you use a compatible 18V Lithium-Ion battery (1.5Ah, 2.0Ah, or 4.0Ah recommended).

1. To install the battery, align the battery pack with the slot in the base of the tool. Slide the battery into the tool until it clicks securely into place.
2. To remove the battery, press the battery release button (usually located on the side of the battery pack) and slide the battery out of the tool.

4.3 Nastavení točivého momentu

The drill driver features 10 torque settings, plus a drill mode, for optimal control when screwdriving into various materials and for different screw sizes. The torque collar is located behind the chuck.

4.4 Variable Speed and Forward/Reverse Switch

• Spoušť s proměnnou rychlostí: The trigger switch allows for variable speed control. Press the trigger lightly for slower speeds and press it further for higher speeds (0-650 RPM). This provides ultimate fingertip control for all drilling and screwdriving applications.

Push it to the left for forward rotation (for drilling and tightening screws) and to the right for reverse rotation (for removing screws or backing out bits). 5. Operating Your Drill Driver

5.1 Vrtání

4. Hold the drill firmly with both hands. Position the drill bit on the workpiece.

6. For deep holes, periodically withdraw the bit to clear chips and allow the bit to cool.

5.2 Šroubování

1. Select the appropriate screwdriver bit for the screw head type.
2. Set the torque collar to a suitable setting (refer to Section 4.3). Start with a lower setting and increase if the screw is not driving fully.
3. Ensure the forward/reverse switch is in the forward position for tightening, or reverse for loosening.
4. Place the screwdriver bit into the screw head. Apply firm, steady pressure to prevent cam-out.
5. Press the trigger to start driving the screw. The clutch will disengage when the set torque is reached, preventing overtightening.
