1. Slot Selector:

Use the upper dial to select the number of slots you wish to activate. This feature helps conserve energy by only heating the necessary elements.

• Rotate the dial to select 1, 2, or 4 slots for toasting.
• For optimal results, ensure the bread is placed in the active slots.

The slot selector allows activation of specific slots to save energy.

2. Mechanical Timer:

The lower dial controls the toasting time and browning level. This is a mechanical timer that ticks down during operation.

• Place bread into the selected slots.
• Turn the mechanical timer dial to your desired browning level. The red indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the elements are active.
• The toaster will automatically switch off when the timer reaches zero.

3. Funkce odmrazování:

To toast frozen bread, select the desired number of slots and turn the mechanical timer dial past the snowflake symbol. This will add extra time to the cycle to defrost the bread before toasting.

4. Manual Ejector Lever:

Unlike automatic pop-up toasters, the Dualit Classic features a manual ejector lever. This allows you to check the toast at any point during the cycle without interrupting the heating process, and keeps the toast warm until you are ready to retrieve it.

• To check toast, gently push down the black ball on the ejector lever. The toast will rise for inspection.
