2.1 Obecná bezpečnost

2.2 Elektrická bezpečnost

• Do not operate with damaged power cords or plugs.

2.3 Hydraulic Safety

• Check hydraulic fluid levels regularly.
• Be aware of high-pressure hydraulic lines; leaks can cause serious injury.
• Use only recommended hydraulic fluids.

3.1 Vybalení a kontrola

Carefully unpack the HTC Shear Model 250-10A. Inspect all components for any shipping damage. Report any damage to the carrier immediately. Verify that all parts listed in the packing list are present.

3.2 Příprava místa

The shear requires a level, stable concrete foundation capable of supporting its weight and operational forces. Ensure adequate space around the machine for safe operation and maintenance access. Provide proper ventilation and lighting.

3.3 Elektrické připojení

Connect the shear to a dedicated electrical circuit as specified in the electrical requirements section (refer to Section 7). Ensure all connections comply with local electrical codes. A qualified electrician should perform this step.

3.4 Hydraulic System Initial Fill

Fill the hydraulic reservoir with the recommended hydraulic fluid (refer to Section 7) to the specified level. Bleed air from the hydraulic system according to the detailed procedure outlined in the service manual.

4.2 Spuštění stroje

1. Otočte hlavní vypínač do polohy „ON“.
2. Press the "START" button on the control panel.
3. Allow the hydraulic pump to build pressure (indicated by pressure gauge).

4.3 Shearing Procedure

1. Position the material to be cut firmly against the back gauge and hold-downs.
2. Ensure fingers and clothing are clear of the blade area.
3. Activate the shear cycle using the foot pedal or control buttons.
4. Wait for the blade to complete its cycle and return to the up position before removing the cut material.

4.4 Zastavení stroje

• Stiskněte tlačítko „STOP“ na ovládacím panelu.
• Turn the main power switch to the "OFF" position when finished operating or leaving the machine unattended.
• In an emergency, press the nearest emergency stop button.

5.1 Denní údržba

• Clean the machine, removing all metal scraps and debris.
• Zkontrolujte hladinu hydraulické kapaliny.
• Inspect blades for wear or damage.
• Lubricate moving parts as specified in the lubrication chart.

5.2 Týdenní údržba

• Check and adjust blade gap if necessary.
• Zkontrolujte hydraulické hadice a armatury, zda nedochází k únikům.
• Vyčistěte nebo vyměňte vzduchové filtry.

5.3 Pravidelná údržba

• Change hydraulic fluid and filter (every 2000 operating hours or annually).
• Inspect electrical connections for tightness.
• Calibrate back gauge and other measuring systems.
