Installation Preparation: Fuel Tank Cleaning

Over time, dirt and contaminants can accumulate inside the fuel tank, potentially affecting the performance and longevity of a new fuel module. A thorough cleaning of the fuel tank is crucial before installing the new Delphi FG1173 Fuel Module to ensure a safe and effective repair.

Steps for Fuel Tank Cleaning:

1. Initial Debris Removal: Before removing the fuel pump, clean off any dirt and debris from the top of the fuel tank, especially around the fuel pump module.
