  • This device should only be operated by qualified personnel.
  • Ensure the power supply matches the device's requirements (220V-50Hz, 184W).

4. Nastavení

  1. Rozbalte zařízení: Opatrně vyjměte všechny součásti z obalu a zkontrolujte, zda nejsou poškozené.
  2. Umístění jednotky: Place the aspirator on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Připojte napájecí kabel: Insert the power cord into the power inlet at the back of the unit. Connect the other end to a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Assemble the Collection Jar:
    • Place the 1000 ml collection jar into its holder on the side of the aspirator unit.
    • Securely attach the lid to the collection jar. Ensure a tight seal.
  5. Connect the Hydrophobic Filter: Insert the hydrophobic filter into the designated port on the collection jar lid. Ensure the filter is oriented correctly (usually indicated by an arrow or text). This filter prevents fluid and bacteria from entering the pump.
  6. Connect Suction Tubing:
    • Connect one end of the short silicone tubing to the filter outlet on the collection jar lid and the other end to the vacuum inlet on the aspirator unit.
    • Connect one end of the longer patient tubing to the patient port on the collection jar lid.
    • Attach a sterile, disposable patient catheter/cannula to the free end of the patient tubing.

5. Návod k obsluze

  1. Zapnutí: Press the ON/OFF switch located on the front panel of the unit. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Nastavení úrovně podtlaku: Turn the vacuum regulator knob on the front panel to set the desired vacuum pressure. Monitor the vacuum gauge to ensure the correct level is achieved. Start with a low setting and gradually increase as needed, following clinical guidelines.
  3. Proveďte aspiraci: Carefully insert the patient catheter into the area requiring aspiration. The device will begin to draw fluids into the collection jar.
  4. Monitor Collection Jar: Continuously monitor the fluid level in the collection jar. Do not allow the fluid to reach the overflow safety valve or the hydrophobic filter.
  5. Vypnout: Once aspiration is complete, press the ON/OFF switch to turn off the unit.
  6. Disconnect and Dispose: Disconnect the patient catheter and dispose of it according to medical waste protocols.

6. Údržba

Regular maintenance is crucial for the safe and effective operation of your GIMA 28210 Vega Suction Aspirator.

6.1 Čištění hlavní jednotky

6.2 Cleaning and Sterilizing the Collection Jar and Lid

  • Alternatively, a disposable collection system (consisting of a rigid reusable container and a disposable polyethylene liner with a hermetically sealed lid and hydrophobic, anti-reflux, bacterial filter) can be used.

6.3 Replacing the Hydrophobic Filter

  • The hydrophobic filter is a single-use component and should be replaced after each patient or if it becomes wet or visibly contaminated.
  • To replace, disconnect the tubing, remove the old filter, and insert a new sterile filter into the designated port on the collection jar lid.
  • Dispose of the used filter as medical waste.
