2. Nastavení
2.1 Loading Film
The Trimlite Instamatic 18 uses 110 film cartridges. Ensure you have a fresh 110 film cartridge before proceeding.
- Locate the film compartment latch on the side or back of the camera. Slide or lift the latch to open the camera back.
- Insert the 110 film cartridge into the compartment. The cartridge is designed to fit in only one orientation; do not force it. The film window should align with the camera's film counter.
- Close the camera back firmly until the latch clicks into place, securing the film compartment.
- Advance the film by turning the film advance wheel (usually located on the top or side of the camera) until the number '1' appears in the film counter window. Your camera is now ready to take the first picture.

3. Ovládání fotoaparátu
3.1 Fotografování
The Trimlite Instamatic 18 features automatic exposure, simplifying the picture-taking process.
- Hold the camera steady and frame your subject through the viewnálezce.
- Press the shutter button located on the top of the camera. A click indicates that the picture has been taken.
- After taking a picture, advance the film by turning the film advance wheel until the next number appears in the film counter window. This prepares the camera for the next shot and prevents double exposures.
3.2 Using the Flipflash (Optional)
For indoor or low-light conditions, the Trimlite Instamatic 18 is compatible with a Flipflash unit (sold separately).
- Insert a new Flipflash unit into the flash socket on top of the camera. Ensure it is securely seated.
- When taking a picture, the camera will automatically trigger the flash if light conditions require it.
- After a flashbulb is used, rotate the Flipflash unit to expose a fresh bulb for the next shot. Dispose of used Flipflash units responsibly.

4. Údržba
