5. Návod k obsluze
Follow these steps for effective and safe cutting:
- Rukojeť: Hold the rotary cutter firmly but comfortably in your dominant hand. The handle is designed for both right- and left-handed users.
- Engage Blade: Slide the blade cover mechanism forward to expose the blade. Ensure the blade is fully exposed before cutting.
- Materiál pozice: Place the material to be cut flat on your self-healing mat. For straight cuts, use a ruler or straight edge as a guide.
- Řezání: Apply firm, even pressure to the cutter and roll it along the desired cutting line. For best results, make a single, continuous pass. The 60mm blade is capable of cutting through multiple layers of fabric (up to 6 layers) and heavier materials.
- Disengage Blade: Immediately after completing your cut, slide the blade cover mechanism back to retract and cover the blade. This is a critical safety step.

6.1. Výměna čepele
CAUTION: Blades are extremely sharp. Handle with extreme care during replacement.
- Ensure the blade safety cover is engaged.
- Locate the blade retention screw/mechanism.
- Carefully loosen or open the mechanism to release the old blade.
- Using a piece of scrap fabric or a magnetic tool, carefully remove the dull blade. Dispose of used blades safely in a designated blade disposal container.
- Place a new OLFA 60mm replacement blade onto the spindle, ensuring it is correctly seated.
- Secure the blade retention mechanism. Test the blade rotation and safety cover function before use.
