4. Nastavení a instalace

4.1 Výběr místa instalace

This gate is suitable for doorways, hallways, and bottom-of-stair use. Ensure the opening width is between 29 and 36.5 inches. Measure your opening carefully to determine if the 4-inch extension is required.

4.2 Assembly Steps (Pressure Mount)

2. Attach Spindle Rods: Insert the four threaded spindle rods into the holes at each corner of the gate frame. Twist the adjustable hand wheels onto the spindle rods.
3. Add Extension (if needed): If your opening is wider than 32.5 inches, attach the 4-inch extension to one side of the main gate frame. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

5. Tighten Bottom Spindle Rods: Hand-tighten the bottom two spindle rods until they make contact with the wall or door frame. Do not fully tighten yet.
6. Tighten Top Spindle Rods: Hand-tighten the top two spindle rods. As you tighten, the gap at the latch mechanism will begin to close. Continue tightening until the gate is firmly secured and the latch mechanism aligns and closes properly.

4.3 Optional Wall Mount Installation (Recommended for Top of Stairs)

For maximum security, especially when installing at the top of stairs, use the included wall cups and screws.

1. Mark Wall Cup Positions: After installing the gate with pressure mounts (as above), mark the exact position of each spindle rod on the wall or door frame.
2. Remove Gate: Loosen the spindle rods and temporarily remove the gate.
