4. Nastavení
4.1 Umístění
The placement of your subwoofer significantly impacts its performance. For optimal results in small to mid-sized rooms, consider placing the PSW10 in a corner or along a wall. Experiment with different positions to find the best bass response for your listening area. The front-firing port delivers bass directly to the listening area.

4.2 Připojení
The PSW10 offers flexible connection options:
- Line-Level Input (RCA): Connect the subwoofer output from your receiver or pre-amplifier to the LFE or Line In (Left/Right) inputs on the PSW10. This is the recommended connection for most home theater receivers.
- Speaker-Level Input/Output: If your receiver does not have a dedicated subwoofer output, connect the speaker outputs from your receiver to the speaker-level inputs on the PSW10. Then, connect the speaker-level outputs from the PSW10 to your main front speakers.

Once connected, plug the subwoofer into a suitable AC power outlet. Set the 3-way power switch to 'AUTO' for automatic power on/off with signal detection, or 'ON' for continuous operation. For initial setup, 'ON' might be preferred to ensure the unit is active.

Adjust the rotary volume control on the back panel to balance the subwoofer's output with your main speakers. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it until the bass blends seamlessly with your system, without overpowering the other speakers.
5.2 Low-Pass Filter (Crossover)
The continuously variable low-pass filter (80-160 Hz) allows you to control the upper frequency limit of the subwoofer. Set this control to match the low-frequency capabilities of your main speakers. If your main speakers are small, set the crossover higher (e.g., 100-120 Hz). If they are larger, set it lower (e.g., 80 Hz). If your receiver has its own crossover settings, it is generally recommended to use the receiver's crossover and set the subwoofer's low-pass filter to its maximum setting (160 Hz) or bypass it if an LFE input is used.
5.3 Phase Toggle Switch
The phase toggle switch (0°/180°) helps to ensure that the subwoofer's output is in phase with your main speakers. Listen to music with strong bass and flip the switch between 0° and 180°. Choose the setting that provides the most impactful and cohesive bass response. This adjustment helps prevent bass cancellation or muddy sound.
