Nastavení

1. Rozbalte jednotku: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging. Remove any plastic bags or protective materials from the unit and filters.
2. Zkontrolujte instalaci filtru: The HEPA/4 filter and pre-filter are typically pre-installed. Open the filter compartment (usually located on the side or back) to ensure the filters are correctly seated and any protective plastic wrapping has been removed from the HEPA filter.

3. Umístění: Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface. For optimal performance, position the unit at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls or furniture to allow for proper airflow. Ensure the air intake and outlet grilles are not obstructed.
4. Připojení k napájení: Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Do not use with extension cords.

The HOLMES HAP240 Air Purifier features simple controls for ease of use.

1. Power On/Off and Fan Speed:
   • Locate the fan speed control switch on the top of the unit.
   • Slide the switch to the desired setting: KLID (low speed), NORMÁLNÍ (medium speed), or VYSOKÝ (maximum speed).
   • To turn the unit off, slide the switch to the VYPNUTO pozice.
2. Funkce ionizátoru:
   • The ionizer function can be used to further enhance particle removal.
   • Locate the ionizer switch on the top of the unit.

   • An indicator light will illuminate when the ionizer is active.

Filter Replacement (HEPA/4 Filter)

The HEPA/4 filter should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage and air quality. Refer to the filter indicator on the unit (if available) or observe a decrease in performance.

3. Remove the old HEPA/4 filter. Dispose of it properly.

4. Insert a new HOLMES HAPF30AT-U4 HEPA/4 filter into the compartment, ensuring it is seated correctly.
5. Bezpečně zavřete kryt přihrádky filtru.
6. Plug the air purifier back into the outlet.

Čištění předfiltru

The washable pre-filter should be cleaned regularly, approximately every 2-4 weeks, or more often if the air quality is poor.

3. Gently vacuum the pre-filter to remove loose dust and debris. Alternatively, rinse it under cool tap water.
4. If rinsing, ensure the pre-filter is completely dry before re-installing it.
5. Re-install the dry pre-filter and close the compartment cover.

Wipe the exterior surfaces of the air purifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no moisture enters the unit.
